How does Zimyo Timesheet handle UAE overtime rules?

Zimyo is pre-configured with UAE Labour Law overtime rules — standard hours are capped at 48 per week, overtime is calculated at 125% for weekday hours beyond the limit and 150% for Friday work. All calculations are automatic based on logged hours and can be customised for your specific employment contracts and free zone regulations.

Can employees log time on mobile without internet access?

Yes. The Zimyo mobile app supports offline time logging. Employees can log hours, start/stop timers, and add notes without a connection. All entries are stored locally and sync automatically when internet access is restored, with a full audit trail showing the sync timestamp.

How does the payroll integration work?

Once a manager approves a timesheet, those hours are automatically available in the Zimyo Payroll module. Regular and overtime hours are mapped to the correct pay components based on your payroll configuration. There's no CSV export or manual data transfer required — the integration is native and real-time.

Can I set different billing rates for different employees on the same project?

Absolutely. Each employee can have a default billing rate, and you can override that rate on a per-project or per-client basis. Senior consultants and junior staff can have different rates on the same project, and the system calculates client billing and internal cost separately so your margin is always visible.
